Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Bills paid! Now I just need stamps.

I was just checking my airport's website and discovered that Northwest Airlines is adding a direct flight to London come summer. Anyone got any opinions on Northwest? I've never flown with them.

Also, Virgin Airlines is adding several flights from Seattle to SF & LA.

The evil is this way?

I read a really depressing article about the crap that Chicago fans gave New Orleans fans at the playoff game last year. All kinds of Katrina-related stuff.

A few. Idiots + alcohol = stupid comments. They weren't a real representation of the Bears fan base, most of which spent the game praying to whatever god was listening to keep Rex Grossman from throwing the game away.

The Chicago Bears? A football game? Aw crap it must be the apocalypse.

Two in a row. First time this season. And a LONG season it's been, too.

I fly Northwest as often as I can. I like them quite a bit.

Northwest is OK compared to American or United, but their baggage handling has been a clusterfuck recently. Be sure you pack essentials in carry-on luggage.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

ita, tomorrow afternoon, right? What time works for you?

I have no plans to be out tomorrow at all, so book when you like.

Had massage, lunch in Malibu, and now must nap before going out for dinner.

OK, tell me if I'm weird here. The other night I went out to dinner with a bunch of relatives -- basically, my uncle and his family. Both my grandmother and my mother asked if my uncle's ex-wife was there. (She lives here.) Why on earth would she go out to dinner with her ex-husband and his current wife and their son? Granted, her two children were there, but there's plenty of other time for her to see them.

She did go to my cousin's wedding shower, at my current aunt's house, which was kind of a Big Deal, but ultimately fine. And just added to the family lore about how excellent Current Aunt is, especially in comparision to Cousins' Mother.

I had a friend who dated a guy who was still legally married to his wife (they've since divorced), even though they had been separated for years. She visited him once and spent the weekend hanging out with him, his wife and his mother in law. Yes, she thought it was weird. They're no longer together.
