Illyria: Wesley's dead. I'm feeling grief for him. I can't seem to control it. I wish to do more violence. Spike: Well, wishes just happen to be horses today.

Bobbi's right, I misspoke. What I meant was that Dulles may be farther geographically, but it will take less time to get to Falls Church than from National and the route will be far less complicated. but, hey, I just live here.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Getting to Falls Church from Dulles is so easy that you can do it by accident. Which I have.

Do the directions start "Miss the exit to 495 from the Dulles Airport Road"?

God that is so true. At least from NoVa. I used to miss the Key Bridge exit and end up on the Road to Nowhere (Turkey Run maybe?). Ugh.

On my to do list today?

Take Noah to the doctor
Make mushroom barley soup
Make cauli au gratin
Go to Mommy and Me Yoga
Hang a bracket in the bathroom
Stop at a close donation box
Watch Ocean's 13, which I just rented at the grocery store.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If that doesn't count as Doing Things - especially the first two - then I am even lazier than I thought.

That was like five minutes of Things.

I am about to put bread in the oven, AND I recreated my "love and heartbreak" playlist (favorite!), so I'm not totally unaccomplished for the day. And when the bread comes out of the oven, I may even go to the library.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am going to try and not get a migraine before tomorrow's massage. It's a tall goal, but I hope to achieve it nonetheless.

Thanks for the thumbs up on the portrait thing. I hope there's a point at which it becomes easier, but I am learning lots about my camera. I've been clicking through other people's attempts, and there's some really good shit on Flickr. Damn.

Showing off my low standards of "clean," maybe....

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I've spent the morning trying not to vomit. Fortunately DH has been incredible and took over the (usually mine) early-morning baby duties AND did laundry and is now out with the boy running errands.

Between the cold I had last week and this stomach thing now, I've been sick for my entire holiday break. Bleargh.

Eating nothing but bananas, saltines, tea and ginger ale...I feel like I'm pregnant again. (And no, no chance of that.)
