Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. And then I get paid.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am home with a cold/flu. Very stuffed up--the kind of stuffed up that makes one's head and ears ache. Am taking drugs and slounging.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I don't know how you resist msbelle. You are truly a pillar of strength. I'd totally be all, "Fuck it, I'm goin' to bed!"

I took more NyQuil and now I'm making dinner. I think perhaps I should have reversed those two, but it's too late now!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

You could just add the NyQuil to your dinner. Like mix it in with some mashed potatoes....

I don't think even butter and garlic could save the green death flavor.

Big yellow train designed by kids, for kids, unveiled in Japan

The train makers on the Odakyu Line in Japan are pretty smart. When they wanted to make their trains more kid friendly, they simply went out and got kids to redesign them. The result is a big yellow train with clouds, monkeys and what could possibly be a bunny or a pig (check out the pink thing along the bottom left in the pic) on it, and another train that has scenes from around Mt. Fuji. Both look like they were drawn in crayon because, well, they were. These are kids we're talking about. That's probably why the trains were rolled out amidst a shower of bubbles. And probably why the kids weren't involved in the design of the brake system.

Ooh. NyQuil poured into a bowl of circus peanuts....

mac is not quite to the bathe self and get self to bed stage yet. also I am lucky enough to have a house cleaner coming tomorrow, but she won't be able to really clean all I want if there is all my holiday and traveling crap everywhere. I am don trying to really put stuff away, I am just moving it all into my room (which she does not clean) and now I am taking de-snottifying meds.

I'm afraid all I see is a badly graffittied train, done by untalented vandals. Maybe if there was more yellow and less metal. I was thinking a nice streamlined bullet train, all in yellow, with puffy white clouds.
