No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

Belated birthday happies for Theo and Jesse. Finally catching up after the Xmas weekend.

Terrible news about Bhutto. And hope all is well with Jessica's relatives.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Just heard from him - they're fine, but basically not leaving the house for the foreseeable future.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes, Jess.

Why won't my parents let me know what's up with my cell phone?!? I feel totally cut off from the outside world. Not that I even make that many phone calls, but still -- it's the principle of the thing.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Sounds like a wise course of action. Thank goodness they're all right, Jessica.

Thanks guys - I'm relieved too.

ION, this is harder than it looks. Place all 50 states on a blank map of the US. The big square ones in the middle are tricky when you don't have anything to line them up against! (And when you've spent your whole life on the East Coast...)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My God, the news about Bhutto is depressing. Apparently she was shot, then the assassin blew himself up.

ION, doing a google image search for "fail" is fun: [link]

Our parent company just announced that they're suspending the company match for our 401(k) next year. I guess this is their way of saying, "Merry Christmas, FUCKOS!"

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Just heard from him - they're fine, but basically not leaving the house for the foreseeable future.

Thank God.

They're the opposite of you! You and E always MISS catastrophies, they travel half way around the world and FIND one.

A business suit that you can wash in the shower. Just hang it up after and it's dry and ready to wear in two hours.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Safety~ma for Jessica's in-laws.

Belated Happy Birthdays to Theodosia and Jesse.

Had a scare with Teddy. He vomited Tuesday evening and again in the middle of the night between Tuesday and Wednesday. Hubs and I both stayed home yesterday to keep an eye on him. Luckily, his regular weekly bloodwork had already been scheduled for last night.

He's acting okay, so we're hoping it was just a scare. But we're nervously awaiting the results of that bloodwork.

It isn't easy getting veterinarian help first thing in the morning on the day after Christmas....
