Thrive to spite them

I'm not sure that the Momthing is going to be in the cards for me, so I plan to make the most of being Auntie Ali.

Also, both my parents are going to be retired by the time the baby comes so they'll be able to spend more time than otherwise.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Go Matilda go! Rock out!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

All adorable babies.

We went to see Sweeney Todd this afternoon, and are going out to dinner tonight. I'm trying to figure out how much my sister will kill me if I wear Mrs. Lovett hair. (It's being super-frizzy anyway, so I figure I might as well just go with it. Plus, it's fun.)

Our wings are not tired

Dinner has been eaten. No overt yelling has happened. So far we haven't ended up in the Emergency Room. This is moving this Christmas into the plus column. I'll leave to head back to LA around 9 tonight and that will be that.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

It is snowing HARD in Seattle. Really damn hard. It was meant to be a gentle flurry that wouldn't stick. Needless to say our Christmas dinner 10 miles across town at a friends' place may be in jeopardy. I don't think I've had a White Christmas before.

A Merry Christmas to you all!

Hey there G_G, we'll be seeing you in about a week. I got a new DeWalt Impact Driver for Christmas. I'm thinking the fun today will be checking to see if my new car is prewired for the bluetooth phone option.

Grace doesn't look too alarmed by the giant gingerbread. She knows she could take him...

Everyone here is passed out. Wine and a full meal do that, I guess. My dad went to do the rock-in-his-head exercise (osteoliths? Anyway, the rocks in his head broke free and are giving him dizziness) and now I hear him snoring. Guess he didn't get as far as the next exercise.

Hey ND! I can't wait to see you.

A DeWalt! Not too bad. No big tools for me this year per say. One of my students gave me a pink tool bag with "the basics" in it; however, my needs are bigger than it can handle! My big gifts were clothing and a new 160 gig iPod. Mom and Dad gave $$.

What kind of car do you have these days? I have an amazing car story to tell you!

Totally shifting gears...what kind of cell phone are you using these days? I'm WAY over due so I'll be upgrading while on break. I'm polling like minded 'gadget' people and getting some input.
