Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Jackson Public, the creator of The Venture Brothers, has a contest. Here is artwork depicting many of the characters who will be appearing in the next season. (Mildly spoilery, as you can see how the characters will be attired.) The contest is this:

1. Which of these characters, if any, does this room actually belong to?

2. There are three famous, non-fictional people in the picture. Name all three.

So for part 2, anybody can play!

I'm guessing the guy in the suit way off to the left is Dick Cavett, but I'm not sure. That's all I got.

Yep, that's Dick Cavett. And Sammy David Jr. is in the background.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My lovely DH just stopped by my office with a cd of Christmas music he burned for me.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Remember how I gave blood on Saturday? Well I went to a friend's Christmas gathering afterward and was swinging her little baby around, totally forgetting that you aren't supposed to do any lifting after giving blood. I totally almost fainted! Ick! Still, I did get to play with little person.

many sympathies, Allyson. almost my whole household is sick with what we think is bronchitis. i took a hydrocodone with regular old cough syrup to get that cough syrup with codeine home remedy and i've felt like throwing up ever since. hydrocodone + empty stomach = not a good idea.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

My wish is that everyone feels better

Ooh, hydrocodone with empty stomach is a VERY bad idea. Which I'd discovered on my own in the past. Ew. Good luck, tiggy. Saltines?

Ack! Yay little person, and yay the fainting didn't happen! Imagine the drama.

saltines and hot tea are all i've had today. not feeling nauseated now thank goodness. in fact, i feel like a semi-human. i hope it's an upward trend because we're supposed to open presents tonight with everyone.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Allyson, and any others feeling ill today, I hope you feel better soon! It is no fun being sick during the holidays.

Allyson, I hope you are able to see a doctor and are able to get something to calm your stomach. Throwing up is no fun (I detest it).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Allyson! How are you? I'm posting from the ER. Left home at 9. You do the math. Do feel better than I am! It's an order, and my Chrismukkah wish.

I don't know--isn't it supposed to be the season of giving? Because they certainly don't want to give me pain meds. At least they managed to page my my migraine specialist and he talked them into more than what they wanted to give me ("That's the equivalent of 45mg of morphine!"), but they're certainly laggy about increasing it.

I have a cannula. I'm willing to compromise. And I've certainly promised to not stop breathing, because I'm nothing if not reasonable. And it seems that I've just been admitted into hospital.

I'm going to pout now. It's not world-ending pain or anything. I just can't go into work on Wednesday with pain like over the past few days. So I should, responsibly (because I'm also nothing if not also), get this seen to. It's just for pain management, not another shot at the cure.

Blpppbt.

My sister is doing QA over my shoulder. Despite being 10mg in the dilaudid hole, it's for the best. She says hi, meara. And best wishes for Allyson's health improving, stat.

The rest of you don't exist. Sorry about that. I don't think it's your fault.
