It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

They *both* look dirty there. It's rubbing off on Ewan!

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

I agree. Both look really dirty.

Ewan, get away while you still can!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Intelligence Redefined: Are You A Gifted Person?

Characteristics of gifted individuals: If 75 per cent of the following 37 characteristics fit you, you are probably a gifted adult.

Huh. I figure 36 of the 37 characteristics apply to me. I think they made it too easy.

Anyway, based on those criteria I'd think that most Buffistas are gifted....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's also a list that cries out for the affirmative.

Damn. It was in the 50s last night, and I was walking around with my jacket off for a while. Now the windchill is below zero. Fun.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Hey, I just found out that donations to First Book are being matched by Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing; for every dollar you donate, S&S will donate one additional new book, up to 1 million books: [link]

Planned Parenthood supporters -- any donations made before the end of the year (up to $250,000) will be doubled by a long-time supporter: [link]

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Susan, I just checked my own credit score with Experian, and noticed that the scale there runs from 330-830 and if I properly remember the score you mentioned, yours would qualify at least as the high middle...

I checked mine with one of the other services, and they were apparently using a different scale--they said it ran from 500-900, and they also gave me a letter grade (low) and a percentile ranking (painful).

DH, however, pointed out that we were in similar circumstances when we applied for a home loan almost a year ago, one big enough that we actually could've bought a small house in Seattle, and were approved but decided it wouldn't be responsible to go through with it, so there's reason to hope we'd get approved for this much smaller loan.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Woo Hoo!

WH just gave me one of my Christmas presents (my "big gift"). He couldn't wait any longer.

I got a 160gig iPod Classic! It's hooked up and loading all my songs, podcasts, etc right now.

How I love this amazing man.
