Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That was my guess.

What about shortcake? Same deal?

Coding and Sleeping

I saw a guy in a top hat recently, and it confused me. He was waiting for a train.

Which railway was he taking, the Pennsylvania, the B&0, the Short Line, or the Reading?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Top hats confuse people, apparently.

Lions, also. Hence, the reason their trainers wear them.

But Jilli can only tame very tiny lions.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My Niece is coming here for college in January. Last I heard, she was going to live with us if she didn't find a place. She came out here for a week in early December and we put her up and took her everywhere (Roscoe's! Studio Tour! The Grove! Etc.!)and, as good Aunt/Uncles do, we made sure she didn't spend one cent. Since she went back to VA, I have sent an assload of friendly emails to her and her mom asking how she is, when she is coming, if she wants us to find a place for her, yadda yadda and have heard nothing. Not a word. Finally, my mom tells me last night that she got on-campus housing. Still haven't heard anything from niece or her mom. I know she's not angry at us, I think she just has no manners.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Butter. (It's also what makes them shortbread.)

What about shortcake? Same deal?

No, with them it's the strawberries that make them so good.
