If you're going to poke in the eyes and have the luxury of aiming precisely, go high and towards the nose. Sweet spot of nerve bundle and blood vessels--maximise the pain and the obscured vision.

No, but it is a long weekend because of November 11. (Remembrance Day here)
And because it's still a Gov't job, they're just considering it a transfer, so I couldn't take time off without taking vacation time.
