If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Good lord, Sophia. That's one for the ages.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Sophia, that is amazing. I know I've gotten up and gotten ready for school at four in the morning, but I didn't make it out of the house!

hip deep in pie

Sophia, I have gotten up and gotten dressed for work on a Saturday, but never made it out of the house.

Today, I am in a total brain fog. I can't get rid of that "just woke up" grogginess.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I've unknowingly gone to work on days that were supposed to be vacation days before.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I haven't gone in to work today and it is a work day.

Does that count?

I made the mistake of trying to resolve some HMO non-payment of medical bills, and now I feel worse than I did when I woke up, which is quite unproductive considering how I had felt then.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Sophia, I have gotten up and gotten dressed for work on a Saturday, but never made it out of the house.

I think it was at least partially because I don't really wake up all the way before I get to work-- I kind of doze on the bus on the way in. But all these clues kept happening that I ignored... like the bus coming at the wrong time (which I attributed to the weather), having all new people on the bus and a new driver (which I attributed to the lateness of the bus), and the fact that it never got light (which I attributed to the storm). I sort of felt like I was in the twilight zone, but I didn't get the fact that it was Sunday evening until I couldn't actually get in the door to the hospital at work (I walk through it to get to my office) without using my swipe card, because it is locked in the evening!

My best friend and I could not stop laughing about this all evening (I called her for a ride home)

This series of sleepy justifications is what happened to me, too! It was pitch black outside (I guess it's still too early for sunrise). I was exhausted (too much schoolwork, need a break). The clock reads four a.m. (!) (must have been a power outage four hours ago).

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I love Sophia's story. I love more that she laughs at herself. And love most that she shares with us!!

ION, my brain is like at 45% focus on work. Holiday time + new job != productivity.

I'm used to waking up with utterly no clue what day it is. It is a very good thing I rely on outside cues (npr as an alarm- Speaking of Faith or It's Only a Game mean that it is weekend.)

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Kat! When come back, I have something to give you.

ita, I am sorry for the sucky start to the day. fie!

I have an empty house, which means I need to get started on putting the kitchen back into its proper place. But I am having a mild freakout about how much I need to do between now and next week. Holidays were way less stressful when I was a kid.

Also? Question for the LAistas: What should I do for my anniversary? I have a sitter lined up for Friday, but nothing else is set up (see above).
