Last night I dreamt that some Buffistas went on a bar crawl in lower Manhattan in a snowstorm, and in each bar we went, we solved a mystery!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've shoveled and now I'm sweaty and I haven't even gotten to my CAR yet. Feh.

not your mom's socks.

Backlit venetian blinds are a recipe for pain.

oh that sucks.

Kat - it is SAP! Ugh. Via Deloitte.

If you've already seen all of this, sorry (and a Too Much Information warning)- but maybe there's a way to file a different sort of grievance? Not being able to rely on your paycheck when you're working your tail off has got to be defined as some sort of torture.

"But district officials say payday will be different this month because of headway made by a fleet of staff members and consultants, including image specialists hired to get out a positive public message." (that last part gets me - perhaps the money could have been better spent.): [link]

"In Chicago, more than 400 teachers have filed grievances that allege payroll errors were committed by the 415,000-student school district since it converted to a PeopleSoft payroll system in March." [link]

I have trouble with bright light and migraines, but only when I'm already on my way to one. The only light that has ever triggered a migraine is the sun. However, that Advil commercial with all the bright lights triggers something like PTSD in me. The first time I saw it, I actually watched it all the way through and felt like I was getting a migraine by the end of it. Now i jsut look away and run fro the remote when it comes on.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I want to live in Tom's dreams.

It's the Cavalcade of Bad Nativities!

I can't believe somebody fugged nativity scenes. But, clearly, someone had to. This one? And this? Begging to be fugged.

that craigslist post is hysterical!

in me news, i chopped 4 inches off of my hair last night. not sure how i feel about it yet, but those 4 inches needed to be gone. it's also a nice shade of dark brown. i'll have to take pictures to see if it's Hec approved.

Trust my rage

I can't believe somebody fugged nativity scenes.

That page was really making me laugh because nativities are the one thing I sort of collect, although most of mine the kind of thing I bought in some tiny shop in X country.
