I look more rad than Lutheranism

Welcome, Gadget Girl! All I know of Central Florida is Lake Ocala, where I went on vacation a few (er, or, actually, 8) years ago.

The Boy is in the basement, unblocking the pathways to the 2 heating vents down there, because the heating/cooling dude is coming tomorrow to clean out the vents/heating system. It's supposed to be extremely helpful when living with pets, and given that The Boy has had 2 dogs and and average of 3 cats and hasn't had the vents cleaned in the 5 years he's lived here....you do the math.

I'm expecting that the vent-cleaning dude will find about 500 cats' worth of hair.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I've got a Windows environment, and access to DH's PC, it'll be fine. I've always done my searching looking for Mac software, though, which is why I've never seen it.

Thrive to spite them

Hey Gadget Girl, welcome to the Buffistas.

I'm in North Florida and enjoying the 80s weather here, although I do wish it would get cold for Xmas.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Is Consuela around? I'm looking for a film that came out recently that is about the apocalypse in Los Angeles. There's some sort of killer infection and a dude locks himself in his house and is faced with keeping his wife (who may or may not be infected) outside.

I can't remember anything searchable about it. Damnit.

ETA: Found it!

Sounds familiar, Allyson.

I went and played Scrabble and had $1 tacos and $2 beer. It was good. Yay, the Scrabble Bitches. We were talking about various ridiculous things, and how was it possible all four of us were now single, and then realized we were a sitcom. The one who has a crazy love life, the one who just moved to town, the one who just broke up with the long term girlfriend, and the shy one...plus the wacky friend not playing scrabble but knitting and occasionally interjecting funny things...There was more to it, but I've forgotten. It was, however, highly entertaining to us.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hey, that makes you the point of view character! We empathize with your plight and you gradually reveal the other characters to us as you discover them.
