Giles: Stop that, you two. Riley: He started it... Xander: He called me a bad name! I think it was bad; it might have been Latin.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I love mine. probably a little more than i should. 8 or 16 GB?

It's a black one.

Heh.

I have no idea.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I had soup in a can and coffee. I think I paid more for the coffee.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Brownies are now in the oven.

Sometimes, I adore being an adult.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Baking powder=baking soda plus cream of tartar or something. You can just use more b.p. if the cream of tartar won't mess up what you're making, though I am not sure how much more. And my reference is still packed.

I have successfully substituted granulated sugar for brown sugar one for one on many occasions. If you have molasses or honey or some kind of syrup, using some of that in place of some of the sugar would be a good idea.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

I was thinking about getting an ipod touch; however, I think husband is getting me a 160G. I wish they would offer a larger gig touch. I'm a little too attached to the large number of music my 80G holds.

I should be finishing some writing for work. It holds no interest for me. Laptop, TV, dog and husband are much more interesting.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I have all the stuff to make cookies but I'm too lazy to bake them. I have white chocolate chips but no macadamia nuts--which would be better.

Whee! I'm always cheered by hearing the news about Impending House.

This: go Liese go!!

my co-worker is eating chicken and dumplings straight out of the can

....chicken and dumplings come in a CAN?

Is it ever a good thing when the really big boss flies in unexpectedly and unannounced?

Doubtful. Here's hoping it's a bad thing for someone who you dislike!

eally big boss flew in to give us all a pen and a pin. Seriously

Dang. Well, I'll keep hoping that Crazy is leaving, for everyone else's sake

but yesterday was the first day of school for Leif

OMG! (Er...why is he starting two weeks before Christmas? Is this some bizarre year-round-school plot or something?) (Also, dear lord, how did he get so BIG?)

I have a new job. Big Boss has not been told I gave notice. I fear being called in

Ooooh! Congrats, msbelle!! And good luck

Would this be an OK place to get started?

Given how fast it moves, possibly you may get trampled or unheard, but it's not like you could be off topic! Welcome!

I have a dream of recipe software that will take as input my pantry inventory and give me something delicious to make out of it.

I think there are places online you can do that. Of course, with what Kat listed, I would just eat the cheese and crackers, and call that dinner. Which is...um...what I just did, actually. And there IS food in my house.

Art Crawl!!!

I found a thing that said that you could sub 2 tsp baking powder for 1/2 tsp baking soda. And something about replacing the acidic liquid in the recipe with non-acidic liquid.

And if I only had molasses - the subsitution I got said 1 cup sugar plus 2 T molasses. Do you think I could use honey or maple syrup instead of the molasses?

I'm going to make oatmeal cookies with those new red and green Cadbury mini sweets and walnuts - does that sound festive?

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

....chicken and dumplings come in a CAN?

ahahaha! i didn't know about it until he started eating it all the time either. he opens it from the bottom too so all the "good stuff" is at the top. it smells like dog food and tastes worse. i don't recommend seeking it out.

I'm a little too attached to the large number of music my 80G holds

my 16GB holds a lot more than i thought it would. i've got 4 eps of Profit, 4 eps of Farscape and about 3 GB of music and there's still a ton of room.
