The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have a hivemind question. My mother tells me she wants a dvd of HMS Pinafore by an Australian company, but does not remember the name of the Australian company.

Does anyone know of a version that meets these guidelines?

eta ugh, Allyson.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesus, Allyson. It's sad, but it does sound like removing yourself from the situation is the best thing you can do.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

but doesn't the fucking arch diocese have to approve a fucking exorcism?

I think that it may even go higher than that. I seem to remember hearing that someone in the Vatican has to give the okay. but I may have read that in a book, and it may have been for dramatic effect.

eta: yes, dramatic effect. It has to be approved by the local bishop.

That's what I came up with too, Jesse, but the Trial by Jury part threw me.

I'm going to get it anyway, I think.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Oh, Allyson, that's awful. I'm afraid I'd be the same way--worrying and wanting to do something. In the end, there's probably nothing you can do to help without driving yourself crazy.

My mom and sister's have gone after a short visit. My twin has been trying to get pregnanat for a few months and I convinced her to get a pregnancy test and it turned out positive. So I am going to be an auntie!

ita, I'm glad you made it to the party--the corset rocked and you looked great!

Crazy Australians! That one does seem like the famous Aus version, anyway.

I have a headache, but I think the 2 advil I've already taken are making me nauseated. Bleh.

Yay for your sister, Cashmere!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

We have a bunch of snack food left from last night. Guess I won't be going hungry this week...

Why does it make you think it's not the one?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Whoo-hoo! Tom found and purchased the much recommended Anderson Valley Winter Solstice beer! He said that it was the only six pack left at the store (at Vinnin, Frank) and also it was magical- he'd looked carefully for a while on the shelves, didn't find it, and then on his pass through on the way out, it was there!

Excited to try it! They are chilling in the fridge as we speak. I just have to finish this paper... then, time for treats!!!
