I don't care about a Wii.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

but, more power to those who like it.

Oh, sure. And our not wanting one means more for them!

Of course, I just told my parents that I guess I would take an iPod for Christmas, so I'm not exactly up with the times.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Hooray, Jilli!

I noticed that a place near me has Wii consoles available for rental. I may give that a try just to see if it's really as appealing as it seems.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hooray, Jilli! Couldn't happen to a nicer Goth. :-)

I tried a Wii at a friends house this summer and I've been yearning for one ever since. I have NEVER wanted a gaming console before this -- the sensation of playing one was much more engaging and fun for me.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Jesse, if it makes you feel less behind the curve, I was just saying to DH it was time to get on the iPod bandwagon.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Who here has been hypnotized? Was it fun? Freaky?

For pain management a couple of times. It was relaxing.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Wii is the awesome! However, GF is addicted to the Star Wars Lego game, which can be v.v. annoying at times.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Did I gripe earlier about my new apartment's combo of freakishly narrow hallway (32") and short door (6' 6") making it impossible to get the super comfy sleep-inducing couch inside? I've been looking at furniture stores for 3 days trying to find something that will (a) fit, and (b) not make me seethe with disappointment whenever I use my living room. Not much luck with (b) at the stores I've visited, but I ran across this online and actually like it. I'm thinking of buying one and either getting the deep red slipcovers or having new ones made out of bright red velvety material.

Then I could stain the wood of my remaining chair and papasan to match the black finish, get a bright green cushion for the latter, and do something with alternate color throw pillows. A complete 180° from the 19th century drawing room thing I had going on at my previous apartment, but I think it could work with the black cabinets and appliances and blue-violet interior walls.

The old comfy couch doesn't come apart at all?
