So, I'm watching the Bones repeat, and they keep saying Anacostia like "ana-coss-cha." That's not right, right, DC peeps?
I always heard (and said) "ana-cohst-ee-ah"
But i'm from Richmond and then Springfield, mom's from Arlington....it may be slightly different in the city proper than the southern burbs.
Happy Mac 'n' msbelle day! Definitely a day to be celebrated.
BD - yes, I adopted through an agency. We met at the orphanage after having only seen pictures of each other. He left with me that day and we stayed 4 more days nearby, then came home.
Thanks everyone. I had meant to do something yesterday, but it didn't happen, so we had cinnamon rolls this morning (his favorite).
Happy mac & msbelle day! YUMMY cinnamon rolls.
The beef roulade I made last night went well. For the filling, I sauted some green onions in butter, added some bread crumbs and blue cheese crumbles. Roasted it in the oven, then topped with some more green onions, blue cheese and some applewood smoked bacon crumbles. Easier and tastier than I thought.
Yay for mac and msbelle!
I am suddenly feeling bad about my toast breakfast and mac-n-cheez dinner.
Jesse, we're having toast for breakfast, too. But it's got tiramisu-flavored marscapone on it. YUM!
Susan, my image of the golden haired, blue-eyed adonis will probably always be Brad Pitt in Thelma & Louise.
Happy Mac plus one day!
I need to figure out breakfast.
