Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Yum! I need to get over there - it's been awhile.

Last time I was there was over 3 years ago. When we went with you and GF and Lee and I was pregnant but didn't know it and ate everyone's dinner.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

That was the first time we'd been there. We've been back many many times since. It is the yum!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

(For men it's called a Hardy Boy!)

Totally off topic, I just heard Stephen Fry quoting Yasser Arafat saying that fighting over religion is like fighting over who has the biggest imaginary friend. Can that citation be right? Huh.

t wandering off to google

Also, on the topic of British comedians speaking about religion, Simon Amstell, on Nevermind the Buzzcocks was gently teasing Jermaine Jackson about being a JW, converted to Muslim when he said,"I you have a problem and use religion, that's great. I use google."

It struck me that google may, in fact, be my true religion of choice. I find solace, enlightenment, and guidance there. Hmmm.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

ugh. had to do actual work there for a little while. meara time!

Goodness, I'd think it's time for the two of you to band together in rebellion.

she's not much of a rebel. she'd rather just bitch about it to me and quietly seethe.

Goodness, I'd think it's time for the two of you to band together in rebellion.

make my life a living hell...

Given that, I hope whatever you do is something you can tolerate one way or another.

thank you, Kat and Steph(i didn't think you were being a dick). if i really thought it was worth it, i would take all of your advice to heart. but the office manager has the boss so wrapped around her finger, it wouldn't matter what i said. i appreciate everyone commisserating with me and affirming that i'm not being a jackhole for not wanting to participate.

When people give me money, I feel like I really ought to put it toward our debt, but with a B&N gift card I have no choice but to buy books.

this is me. like the $100 bonus the bosses give us. i always feel like i should stuff that in my savings account.

They sometimes have my drink ready when I get to the front of the line.

hee! that reminds me. last friday i called a place i used to get take-out from all the time for lunch, but haven't in a while in an attempt to save money. i recognized the girl's voice immediately because she was always the one who took my order. i told her what i wanted and she said, "last name ____". i laughed and remarked that i was amazed she still remembered. i am a creature of habit.

I know people who don't even drink coffee!!

*raises hand*

Gud, bonny, Dana, Tom and Susan! my brothahs and sistahs!

now i must get back to work. co-worker has left me and i now have to do both of our jobs.
