And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Hivemind:

Which catalog sells Edward Gorey stuff (prints, books, etc)? I need to order something for a Christmas gift and can't remember which catalog it is...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

flea, are both of the children safe and warm? I'm pretty sure there's someone out there who deserves that tiara more than you. If you just want to wear a tiara after your ordeal, OTOH....

Shit's all sorts of different now.

What Jesse said.

Tiara for being Awesome Mom!

We had a small battle of the wills this evening. It was a draw. Emeline was not allowed to wear her new princess dress because she decided to sit in her chair at the table, look at both Joe and I, and pee in her pants.

I've been thinking about removing the plastic from the chair pads (they were my great-grandmother's), but now am glad I didn't.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

GC, I remember seeing some Gorey things in the Signals catalog, probably because of the Gorey-like drawings for PBS's Mystery series.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, poor muffin! That's a truly impressive goose egg.

I've just formally completely quit. I feel caught between sad and panic-stricken. Nine work days left to clear away all the crap on my desk and leave it clean and bare for the next person! Nine days left to make sure my boss is tended to and provided for! Nine days left for, well, everything! GAH.

The happy comes into it at some point, eventually, doesn't it?
