I'm going to be getting my great-grandmother's pearls this month. My grandma had them restrung a few decades back, so they still should be in good condition. It's the first thing I'll have had of hers other than her wedding photo (she passed away when I was still a toddler, so I don't remember her at all), and I'm very excited.
She had a gorgeous old-fashioned name, Alida, that I love, and I'm planning on getting the wedding photos of both her and Great-Grandpa Jesse framed professionally this winter.
I so want to COMM this one.

Ye gads, I just graded two paper sets this weekend. My eyes are bleary. But on the upside, no more grading for a whole week.
