Zoe: Captain will come up with a plan. Kaylee: That's good. Right? Zoe: Possibly you're not recalling some of his previous plans.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

We may have to come up with a drinking game to go along with it.
Ooh, the friend I play Scrabble with the most and I do this. Well, wine and Scrabble. That's kinda a drinking game, right? Makes it fun. Also makes for relatively looser rules by the time her husband gets home to mock us.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

wine = drinking

scrabble = game

I think we're past kinda

Now tagless for your comfort.

Blue cheese, green onions and bacon? Can I come to dinner?

Sure. I'll keep it warm for you.

Oh, my, those shoes are GORGEOUS! And spendy.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

some Russian social networking company.

Ohhhkaaayyy.

When are we going to build our own blogging software?

Blarg.

In happier thoughts, you should all move to NM! Even though I moved away from NM! I still love New Mexico and would like to get back there some day. And anyway, you'd be closer to me!

My GP's are selling their place down there. Just too old to go back and forth during the winter anymore I guess. Sad times.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

FWIW, SUP has been running LiveJournal Russia very successfully. So the situation could be way worse (like for instance, being sold to Rupert Murdoch or someone like him).

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

some Russian social networking company

Meep.

My alarm clock overslept this morning so I was about 30 minutes late coming into work today, AND I forgot to take out the garbage on my way out. I suck.

FTR, I don't suck at Scrabble, but I do, apparently, suck at Scrabulous. Even with the dictionary lookup link right there at the bottom of the page...

And in case anyone hasn't had enough baby picspam from me, this morning's edition includes toe-sucking.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh holy gronk. Dog woke me up and started fussing to go out like crazy at 4 this morning. I let her out on the porch for a while but no go, and finally had to actually take her out at 4:30 or so. Now she's all curled up comfortably on the couch and I'm seriously dragging ass. I really wish this was a work from home day, but I have so much going on it's just not possible.
