I save fluevog buying until the half off sales. I think I paid full once. And it hurt. But they've held up nicely (I think full price was my red kindergartner shoes, which I adore forever.) I do need new shoes, though.
Everyone needs to move to B'more. It's got issues, but it's interesting!
