I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

sara's my blue Sudafed girl.

Claritin-D, on the other hand, makes me unable to sleep. I assume it has more pseudoephedrine than OTC (or behind TC) Sudafed.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

a reason 1969 was the summer of love. Birth control pills, antibiotics, pre-aids. Y Not?

I wonder when the next one will roll around.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Old Blue Sudafed is just Old Red Sudafed + Mucinex. You still need to show ID and give them your firstborn child as collatoral, but it is possible to have the decongestant without the dryness.

I just baked a chicken pot pie and filled the apartment with smoke. My smoke detector is now resting comfortably on a stool, safely disconnected from anything that might make it start screaming at me again. It's possible I should clean my oven this weekend.

Miraculously, DZ slept through the whole thing.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I'm with Jesse - there's a reason 1969 was the summer of love. Birth control pills, antibiotics, pre-aids. Y Not?

HPV. Which, being a virus, is not affected by antibiotics, although it's also symptomless in most people right up until you get cervical cancer. Also, there's no cure for herpes, and in 1969 the treatments (outbreak shorteners) were in the nada department.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't think herpes is really a big deal, and HPV isn't a big deal for most people who have it, either. And it's definitely not a big deal at first.

Thrive to spite them

In case anyone didn't know -- How the Grinch Stole Christmas is on ABC right now (for EST).

It's been remastered and looks very bright and shiny. And the Grinchy is extra Grinchy looking.

Clouds are, disappointingly, simply cold, wet, masses of condensation held together by their own spiteful desire to make every New England resident's life miserable.

Saluations.

Oh, man! I hope I can catch it later. I have White Christmas (best movie ever) and Charlie Brown Christmas sitting on the DVR waiting for the holiday spirit.
