Inara: So, explain to me again why Zoe wasn't in the dress? Mal: Tactics, woman. Needed her in the back. 'Sides, those soft cotton dresses feel kinda nice. It's the whole... air-flow.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I did! I forgot to call! I immediately took a loooong nap - it's been an action-packed weekend.

The top of the Bay Bridge? Actually sucked worse than the lower deck, because the cross winds were very active.

Also! There was a 2 alarm fire on the hill facing mine! I could see the flames leaping for the sky. Luckily, it got contained, but I was all ready to pack the cats into the bike saddlebags and head back out. All hail SFFD.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Anybody but me watched The Amazing Race last night? One of my principle rules came into effect: always be calm and quiet around the animals. Some of the couples started having drama around the donkeys that they were supposed to use in a task, with predictable results -- happily and deservedly, it resulted in an elimination. Plus, a very likable pair came in first.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, that was a great ep. And it was so fun to see three teams I like racing it out for first. We've been squeeing over in Non-fic.

I've been avoiding NonF because it was hard to find the nuggets of what I wanted to talk about, but I shall check out Sunday nights now....

Skipping to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is CaBil's birthday.

I haven't seen posts from him in forever, but I hope he gets the well-wishes somehow.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

OMG the adorableness of Noah sleeping in the stroller while Grace is all "DUDE, I'M YOUR SISTER! WAKE UP!" And then the big yawn! LOVE.

DH took some pictures of my playing with Dylan over the weekend. Is it just me, or is he plotting something wicked?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Jessica, wicked plotting is their default mode. Also, CUTE!

Oh, yeah. Something along the line of "you'll see how adorable my tiny toes are, and you'll be compelled to either kiss them or watch each and every single other picture in which they appear".

Um, I mean, his evil plot worked just fine on me, so there you go.
