I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

A new Ethiopian place just opened near me (corner of Broadway and Lawrence) and I ate there last night for the first time. Very nummy.

I'm so happy. Ethiopian! Within walking distance! Half a block from the Red Line!

I had Brown's Chicken last night, but they screwed up my order, which I didn't discover until I had brought it home. (They shorted me a breast and my side dish of potato salad.) They're sending me a voucher for a free meal in the mail.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Well damnit, now I have to go get chicken tikka masala for lunch.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Let's skip that and go straight to giving this week a knee to the 'nads. Repeatedly.

ALL OVER THAT.

I'm too tired to care about lunch, but a Popeye's biscuit would not go amiss right now.

Ooh! I was wondering if that place had opened yet, and if it was any good. Now I need to go get me some injera.

Once again, y'all talking about lunch reminds me I failed again to defrost something for dinner. Sigh.

OTOH, xmas travel is booked. Had to board Mister Kitty at the alternate place. I usually book his thanksgiving and xmas stays at the same time, I just forgot this year.

All my travel ends up being in the latter half of the year.

Art Crawl!!!

Perhaps we should all get up REALLY early and talk about what we're having for breakfast so sarameg can remember to defrost something for dinner.

We could assign people.

I ordered a cheeseburger. It should be here in 25 minutes.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I just had leftover mac and cheese. It was not the best ever. But it was all I could manage with the running around.

Today is supposed to be admin day and I've got a ton of work to do for that. But we wasted half the morning by going out to the house to find out that the insulation guys don't have the stuff they need, so won't be coming out today after all. The builder is scrambling to see if they can do partial work, and the drywallers can get started around them, but it's really disappointing. They won't be in until Monday now. Bummer. So the mystery persists.

But we got some good calls in to our tile guy and our bank, so we're off to buy appliances (gulp!).

Shiny new appliances!

Heh. Except that I don't get online in the morning until I'm already at work...
