Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Galactica, Daedalus, Prometheus, Heart of Gold, Nimbus, Korolev, Red Dwarf, Serenity, Augira, Betta, Loenov, Sulaco, Moya, Odyssey, Star Bug, Swordfish II, Bebop, Cygnus, Palomino

Nostromo. Not only is it a classic in the space-horror-flick sense, it's a classic in the sense that it's named after a Joseph Conrad novel. Double points!

so maybe I would go for crazy melty world instead.

speaking from that group of migraineuse who get halos as warnings and ignore them... crazy melty world is way too close to a trigger.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I've watched fishes sing classic rock.

Have you a Bounty ? If there hasn't been a spaceship by that name, there ought to be.

...what?

The status is NOT quo.

Ack! I just started watching HIMYM, and I'm horrified at the sudden appearance of a laugh track. No! You're making all the funny jokes seem cheesy!

I really hope that this is a plot device and not a permanent change.

"I am the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world"

That's a sign of someone's lack of faith in the writers. Overall how is it as a show?

The status is NOT quo.

It's a fantastic show. The only sitcom I watch on a regular basis; the writing is great.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'll second Kristin's endorsement. It's the only show I watch on the low channels.

Extra bonus points is you're a Joss fan or Freaks and Geeks fan, since the producers are too and have actors from Buffy/Angel and F&G on regularly.
