Yikes, Hec! I love the white lights outlining the house, but I don't think that's gonna fly this year--too much move-in work yet to do. I like the wreath door/garland idea--I gotta see how we get power to the front door. I so love dealing with the early darkness of winter by decorating with lights and I want to find a way to do something.

A candle in each window is lovely and easy enough to do. And some have light sensors so they'll come on after dark.
Hmm... maybe those are dark sensors.
I'm a simple wreath on the door and white lights on bushes or trees and the porch. I love to see homes lit up during the holidays.
DH would have a neon sign that says "Feliz Navidad", a plastic snowman and a three legged reindeer if he had his druthers.
He's not allowed to decorate.
Fleur Forsyte is such a manipulative little twit. Naturally boys flock to her. Oy.

I find myself craving garlic mashed potatoes.
I am craving Robin's blue cheese mashed potatoes.
I have blue cheese. And mashed potatoes. Think they can be combined at this late date?
This just in: I dislike packing. Bleh.
I miss the big outdoor light bulbs in multi-colors that we put up on our house when I was a kid. Now everything's all mini-lights and monochrome. Go big, choose exuberant.
I just wrapped my balcony railing with white lights. But, I realized that they are indoor lights. Is that a big deal, or do I need go get some outdoor lights?
Also, why was it 70 degrees yesterday, and is now 40 degrees?
Because there is no justice, and it should stay 70 degrees all winter.
