And you're sure this isn't just some fanboy thing? 'Cause I've fought more than a couple pimply, overweight vamps that called themselves Lestat.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Not only is this not pseudo-Friday, I have to work on actual Friday. Then I go straight from work to the airport to pick up Trouble!Neice, who is here for a week. I just got an email from her dad, laying out ground rules, like no going out with friends (so she doesn't have a chance to drink or use drugs), I have to make her clean up after herself, and to remind her to stop eating, since she is a recovering bulimic. I get to be Aunt Enforcer. Oh, it's going to be a fun week.

I'm with Robin. Friday should be dead, but maybe not, as a couple of large insurance companies are migrating to our program upgrade, and I just know some go-getter IT person is thinking "Hey, what a terrific time to upgrade all 500 computers!"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have Friday off, which is quite exciting.

Today is Wednesday, but I really need to actually go to work. I'm a little too relaxed here.

Art Crawl!!!

Today is Wednesday?

You mean, conceptual Wednesday? Actual Tuesday, right?

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Why did I think it was a good idea to wear my glasses instead of contacts today? My eyes feel all naked and vulnerable!

Seriously, Noah called me earlier and he was all, "Dude. The new chick is SILLY."

Hey now. He's no kicking the tray of his swing. I don't know where he finds time to call you. He's seriously busy.

Robin, can you email me your phone # to the gmail addy?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I get to be Aunt Enforcer. Oh, it's going to be a fun week.

Yikes. Luckily, I'm sure you can do that without being Aunt No-Fun. Due to the scrappyliciousness.

Punishingly Intricate

My surname came up 3320. Which is a little surprisingly high to me. But there are way more of us in the south and west then up here.

My mom's maiden name, a varient spelling of Nora's surname if I'm not mistaken, came up 39833. I'm guessing mostly because they are prolific breeders.

I think I am getting a cold. Which = Bullshit. I have too much work to do today and tomorrow and then have to drive to DE to help parents host great big thanksgiving (see prolific breeder comment in preceding paragraph) and then come back down here and host friends visiting from NY. NO TIME FOR SICK!

(ION, am enjoying the sarameg & Noah tales!)

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

My last name came in at 616, my mother's maiden name at 141. We're kind of generic-Americans.

I'm hoping they'll close the office early Wednesday ... they often do. I'm not sure I could stand another whole day of what yesterday and today so far have been - wrestling with designers who can't read a spec sheet - with pictures! - and don't understand the difference between low- and high-resolution. snarl.
