Yes, apparently they are more dangerous and destructive in the U.S., particularly in Tornado Alley.

You're twice as likely to see a tornado in Britain than in the U.S.
I'll bet probability of proximity has something to do with it. Tornado Alley contains a lot of wide open, low population density area.

Mmmm, oatmeal scotchies. ANNNNND, today I went to the grocery store and finally got sugar and flour and brown sugar! I already had oatmeal and eggs and butter and butterscotch chips. So I could MAKE them. Hotness.
But I think I'm going to bed soon. Maybe I'll make cookies tomorrow. I also need ot figure out what I need for pie, and go buy that.
