Thanks, Cashmere.

We've finally figured it out. The nurses like to dress her little girl dresses even though we don't care. I think the mostly latina nurse assistants feel like they make us feel better when she looks pretty. Really, I'd prefer her in pants or onesies, but the day after we brought the weiner dog dress it ended up on her. So, we need to get more dresses for her.

I'm very partial to this picture [link]

Sara, I can't wait to see you. Gracie and Noah will be happy to meet you.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Heh. Two pages of the scrapbook are single pics of Gracie with Hello beautiful titles, framed in pink paper that reads, "She was just tickled pink"!

To be fair, she was wearing a pink dress in both pics. The other is framed in paper that reads, "girls just want to have fun" and it's a photo of you and Gracie smiling at each other.

Grace would look awesome in reds! (I'd love to oblige but I think I've been on a shopping strike....I'm not sure.)

I'm really looking forward to vacation.

Jesse, I totally agree on your CM whitefont. I am going to be really sad if they off Garcia, especially like this.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Thanks for all the birthday wishes, y'all!! It's been a v. good day. My younger sister started sending me cards last week. I now have 33 and expect to get 7 more to reflect turning the big 4-0. Today at school, she sent me a wee giftie. A black, cardboard coffin about 1' long that contained black, silk roses. She loves me, yes she does.

Sat., I had some friends over for a b'day/housewarming party and that was quite lovely. Kathy A. was there!

Tonight, I went out for a yummy Italian meal with friends from work. I had pumpkin ravioli that was so very tasty.

Now, I'm letting some Nyquil kick in and am about to go to bed.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Awww, ChiKat. That's raising the bar for my 50th birthday.

I woke up at 5 am and obsessed about my front stoop, which is still falling down. But at least I have made some plans to Deal With It now....
