You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I used to have an alternate chat room persona I would call upon to deal with particularly obnoxious trolls. I haven't thought about her in years. I kinda miss her. But I don't miss the chat rooms.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

David, that might be the nastiest insult I've ever heard. Ew.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Okay, am I a total dork because I squeed in glee when Bones referenced a Commodore Amiga? I totally had one in '87!!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Had a non-painful parent teacher conference tonight. I think I might be shopping for a new school for mac though - the teacher basically said he needs more challenge. YAY smart cutiehead.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

David, that might be the nastiest insult I've ever heard. Ew.

I was provoked! (the person in question was later banned)

Well done, Mac!

Emmett got his first letter-grade report card today. All A- and B+. We told him that was good but he could do better. Which is true. He only does what's required and no more.

Always Anti-fascist!

If the person in question was who I tthink, I could understand the sentiment, bunk. For she was a beast, though at the time, I thought everyone just needed to be Heard. But some people are just dicks, and that's all, and there's little deeper meaning to be found in it.

"I am the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world"

It is a lot less offensive for me to see "the n word" in print than it is for me to hear it spoken aloud.

Agreed Laga. Maybe it's the whole Slam Poetry/Spoken Word thing for me but reading it on paper (normally) is just that. It's a reflection of ignorance in some context on paper. Hearing things aloud just seem to give them more power.

Swouncing

And, surprise, skipping again, to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is ChiKat's birthday.

Happy birthday, ChiKat! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Nilly!

I am falling into bed but it's been ages since I've "seen" you.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

ita, what's your favorite brand of sports bra?

DKNY underwire. Whoot.

I think it's a good thing that I've never heard of four of the worst fight scenes. That's some bad, right there.
