Every nightmare I have that doesn't revolve around academic failure or public nudity is about that thing. In fact, once I dreamt that it attacked me while I was late for a test and naked.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was pretty close to giving up on this week's Chuck as I was watchig it last night, when they had a shot of a Stanford ID and then an aerial view of the Stanford campus, and they were both actually the real thing. It's such a small thing, but it was enough to keep me watching.

Art Crawl!!!

I know a number of people who completely gave up on csi:NY when they did an episode involving a dog show where they just got it all wrong. (In fact, I only started watching the show again when I discovered I could watch it On Demand pretty painlessly.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd feel bad. I think I'm the only person still watching.

Hey, I wonder if the strike would be a good time to wander among the writers and suggest that they be more accurate in their representations of various communities and professions.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

yes we should totally do this. Does anybody know what shows are filmed at Sony studios in Culver City?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

It's physics, people, not voodoo.

I get the same way about math stuff on most TV. It's math, not magic! It can't solve everything, and it can't explain everything.

(My issue with most of the issues of Numb3rs that I've seen is that he's able to pull way too much information out of a tiny amount of data.)

We could get Allyson to slip notes in the goodie bags.

"Just a word about unconsciousness--it's not like a switch with a timer--if you choke someone out, you may have as little as a minute before they come to."

Stuff like that. I mean, while they're a captive audience, so to speak.

I was surprised this week-I thought they did pretty well, except for the software running on the cameras that could extract and solve clues. CSI made my eyes roll with their patent zoom in for more detail thing this week. Removing noise 255% will not make the writing on a cap that legible. It's not like there was a lot of noise in the image.

Bahahaahah... well I had an invite to bring my baby to strike on Monday. I could do that.

Oh man. I just finished watching this week's FNL. I am wickedly in love with the Taylors! Tami was fabulous this week. And so how I feel some mornings. It's a good saturday night when I am home alone, with the baby on my lap, catching up on TV.

I'm feeling vaguely ill. I ate three bagels today, so maybe I've OD'd on carbs?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

"Just a word about unconsciousness--it's not like a switch with a timer--if you choke someone out, you may have as little as a minute before they come to."
And you can offer ... demonstrations should they be required, in case they aren't paying attention closely enough.
