Here's my contribution to the game:

During my brief stay in their customs building, I learnt that they will not tell you ahead of time what weapons are illegal to bring across the border. Which strikes me as a nice opportunity to make some confiscation cash, and just a general pain in the ass for those of us that might have a sword in the trunk.
