Nothing, really, although I *thought* that club soda was saltier than seltzer, because it has bicarbonate of soda in it.
Huh.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I'm starting to become addicted to Calistoga's mineral fizzy water. Is Teh Num, because it kind of tastes like en-fizzed water from home.
Now I want to go home and make my water fizzy!
I somehow read this as "Now I want to go home water my fizzy!", which took me to an odd place.
Heh. I admit, the idea of fizzy exploding milk is really tempting me to try it.
Fizzy Lifting Drinks!
fizzy exploding milk
Make it chocolate milk and you've almost got yourself a really dangerous egg cream!
From what I remember originally seltzer was what you made at home, club soda was the same stuff pre-bottled fro convenience. (Unsupported speculation: maybe it was used in clubs and bars to save labor.) Club soda commonly had a bit of sodium bicarbonate or other additive to give it that "homemade" taste seltzer had because of impurities in home drinking water.
No wonder why I've been freezing my ass off all morning. Someone cranked the thermostat down to 62 degrees.
As another fizzy water addict, I want a report from Steph about the seltzer maker.
(Edited to fix seltzer, which I missed even as I was correcting frizzy water.)
Kristen said all the goodies are going to the valley.
What does this mean to those of us non-LAers?
It means the goodies are going to the studios like Universal, NBC, Disney, and ... I think that's it in the Valley (meaning Burbank, Universal City - anything east of the mountains. I think.)
FOX, CBS, 20th, Paramount, and a metric fuckload of others are located on the other side of the "hill" (the giant mountains - nearer the ocean).
Perrier is the brand I'm thinking of. Bleah.
Perrier is natually carbonated and mineralized, so the minerals might be making you nauseous.

Not exploding, but I like fizzy cream sodas! Monin syrups are excellent mixers for fizzy water.
