"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I wonder if I could get away with it for the holiday party...

YES.

Ah shit, I was going to bed at 10 tonight. Oh well. G'night!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I have that. Works better with petticoats. And comfier than you'd expect for a vinyl ballgown too.

FTR, nobody gives a fat damn if Cass is comfortable or not when she wears it. And the inconvenient drool wipes right off.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

But, DAMN, do I want a vinyl ballgown...Jilli, if you happen to stumble upon one in your perambulation, I could just chalk it up to the midlife crisis (what a lovely catchall).

I know of at least two different stores I hit regularly that I should be able to find them at for under $50. What size should I look for? And I'm assuming classic black vinyl, not red?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

YES.

I will think on it. Requires a simple and pretty top.

What size should I look for?

Six, I guess. My rib cage is pretty small, but the breasts are not. Lacing like in that one above should accomodate both just fine.

And I'm assuming classic black vinyl, not red?

Yes! Thanks.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

The new version of internet shopping, Buffista-style! I love it!

sarameg, I saw someone wearing a t-shirt that said "Pale is the new Tan" and wanted one.

Librarian Warlord

Fred Pete, I hope Teddy continues to improve!

shrift, congratulations on a good interview with bonus porn!

sarameg, my gold crown was about $850 a year ago in CA. I don't know what material you'll be using, but the price of gold has gone up quite a bit lately and that may affect the cost.

The new house starts to get some insulation today, and the painters might start tomorrow -- they might change their plans when they hear the new boiler hasn't been installed and it is supposed to be cold and rainy so they won't have heat. I think we've written more checks in the past two weeks than we wrote all of last year.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bah. Someone broke some windows at our office last night. I have broken glass all over my desk and chair and whatnot. The police are coming to investigate. Doesn't look like anyone tried to get in or anything.

I'm gonna see if I can score some "Crime Scene" tape from the cops....

Zenkitty - Nov 09, 2007 4:44:58 am PST #1312 of 10001
Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yay, Teddy, with the new kidney! Work right, new kidney of Teddy.

Boo, crime, tommy! I need me some Crime Scene tape to go across the opening of my cubicle.

This si a dumb question: What exactly is a root canal? It sounds utterly horrifying, but what do they actually do to the tooth?

Jesse - Nov 09, 2007 4:51:31 am PST #1313 of 10001
Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes, Tommy.

I am tired and do not feel like working today. Hmm. Also, I have figured out the problem with the date on our phones -- they are 12 hours off. so right now it says it's 9:51 on Thursday, but they mean 9:51 last night.
