"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Whenever I happen to catch The Uniton TV, I'm always startled by the fact that Max Martini looks eerily like one of the world's most famous gay porn stars. It always throws me out of the story for a moment until I remember it's not the same guy.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Kat, I love the bib but I gotta say, while Grace is probably the prettier of the two, Noah is fully her equal in cuteness. He's such a wee charmer!

CMA comment:

With Alison Krause/Union Station, Little Big Town, and The Dixie Chicks as competition - they chose Rascal Flatt as best vocal group? WTF?

Alison = bluegrass. That ain't Nashville.

Little Big Town = too new.

Dixie Chicks = unforgiven commies

Thanks Hec.

The politics of a community you are not familiar with is always mysterious. The Dixie Chicks were obvious, but I could not figure out the rest.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have the world's teeniest adult veins, it seems. Taking them forever to get the IV in.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ugh, ita. I hope they find the vein soon.

Oww. So sorry, ita.

Are you perhaps dehydrated?

And to perhaps distract you, another cute baby? [link]

Cute babies always welcome!

IV is in now, IV drugs in now.

I'm probably somewhat dehydrated, but mostly my veins suck-they hide, they roll, they blow, they scar over so any good spot can't be used again for a month or two. And that's a pathetically large # of visits.

ugh. It's another solo visit. Can't be sure if I hate these more than the accompanied ones. Maybe I just hate.

Okay pain. Now to be going!
