Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Back from Indian dinner, which was fun and extremely yummy.

so you can get Chinese food with a root beer float.

but is that kosher?

Most certainly not. (Also, kind of ick. Chinese food with ice cream is weird. Chinese food then ice cream is perfect, on the other hand.)

My sister and i did our traditional Christmas movie watching. Juno was quite good. "PS I Love You", though? DRECK. utter DRECK. Hilary Swank was trying to be Jennifer Garner, and failed. PLUS the plot and dialogue were dreadful. Painful. Gah. DO NOT WANT>

Sigh. Just opened the cabinet and found two bulging cans of peaches, one of which is leaking. And the leaking juice congealed, making them stick to the shelf, so I can't throw them out. Gross. And ick. And weren't cans supposed to be safer than this?

Er, well, I guess that's why they tell you not to eat cans that are misshapen? Because they might be full of botulism, and not in a botox kinda way?

I'm going to go with "Not my cabinet, I'll tell my mom in the morning." Because, while there are very few things that really gross me out, spoiled food does.

The snow ended up not being a problem. It was heavy in our neighborhood but almost non-existent or turned to rain for the rest of the trip.

By the time we got back our area was free from snow and clearly hadn't rained in a few hours either. Yay.

Oof. Off to watch DVDs and recover from over-indulging.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Greetings from the wilds of middle Ohio! My sister took the kids over to my parents' hotel to say goodbye so there is blessed, blessed quiet.

OMG. So much screaming, crying, and yelling from the 3 year old this year. She must be gearing up for some crazy developmental thing because she has gone INSANE.

Santa was good to the kids, and we've had a pretty nice time. I made my sister a turkey dinner yesterday which turned out pretty well, if I may say so myself. Also made eggnog custard french toast and spanish tortilla for breakast.

Had a weird anxiety thing yesterday, for no good reason whatsoever. Thankfully, being in a supportive and familiar environment didn't escalate things, but I did need to eventually snag one of Tom's Ativans to get out of it. Haven't done that for a few months now.

Going home tonight; hoping that the flight will leave more or less on time... I didn't get much in the way of loot, but that's OK. My mom did score a suede jacket for me though.

OK, time to hit the shower!

Askye, congrats on impending aunt-hood! And I'm glad that it seems like most had a good holiday. Sean, great news about S. Keeping my fingers crossed for her!
