Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor. Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?

'Why We Fight'

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

We just did kitty Christmas stockings (yes, we are crazy cat ladies). Next we will watch some Christmas eps (Mr. Hanky, Charlie Brown, others). Then stockings and 1 giftie! Girlie martinis will be in there, too, along with dinner and baked goods. I'm glad the stressy part of the holiday is over.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm glad the stressy part of the holiday is over.

me too! I talked to my girlfriend in FL earlier today and when I hung up the phone it took me a moment to realize that what I was feeling was happy! The gifts are wrapped, the schedule is arranged, all I have to do is enjoy Christmas. ::jingle:jingle::

brillig

Toys R Us was boring.

Though if you do buy something, pay for it in electronics.

we're very slow tonight. Not getting Sweeny Todd really hurt our attendance budget.

Our wings are not tired

o lordy he's gone to WalMart

No, just got distracted by family drama regarding getting dinner. Now we are trying to get the clan to go to church. Ugh.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'm home before Windsparrow, and I'm torn.

I have three things I would like to do before she gets home in an hour or so. I'm having a hard time prioritizing.

- do dishes and clean up the kitchen so I can get the turkey dressed and in the fridge early, for cooking after midnight.

- Take out the Christmas decorations and string them willy nilly around the downstairs so that when she comes into the house, she steps into a fairyland of lights and decorations.

- Bundle up and go outside in the 20º F cold and widen the driveway a bit more from the snowplow dump that we had to dig through to get to work today.

See the quandary? All worthy tasks.

Thrive to spite them

I still haven't wrapped presents. I don't have gift bags and I need those are boxes so things are going to be interesting.

Also my plans for Mom's gift got screwed up. I thought my brother and I were ordering something from LL Bean buthe got something else of the same style (which I haven't seen). I don't know if it compares so I'm not sure it looks like Mom got such a great Xmas.

so now I'm all worried that it will look like I spent more on Dad than Mom.

Which is stupid, but I also feel like I over spent. I didn't really and I spent what I wanted, but still. I probably could have cut back on my brother and FSIL.

It's weird reading MM's posts in Natter (because it's December 21st in there, at least from my perspective) and knowing that fire!awakening lies in his future.
