Coffee:
I'm sitting in a cafe in tha' O.C. after eating a tasty breakfast, and something just struck me: I'm wearing a t-shirt and the doors to the patio are open to the outside. And it's the end of December! Some days, I love the Southern California weather.
In other news, I shall soon return to the frozen North Lands of Michigan for Holiday fun with the family. And, I shall see The Empress, MM, and the adorable little Punk!!
(edited for punctuation.)
I miss the frozen north. This morning there was frost! actual frost on my car. I scraped it with my fingernail I was so skeptical but it was real. But oh I miss the big fluffy flakes.
See, if I'd seen what looked like frost on my car here, I'd assume it was some sort of wildfire ash or pollution residue. Sick as it sounds, I'm looking forward to scraping ice and snow off of a rental car during my week in MI.
The question remains: Has my blood thinned yet? It's been almost 2 years here in SoCal... The only way to test that is to walk out of the Detroit airport in only a T-Shirt and light jacket to brave the cold. :)
Trade ya, Laga. Last night, we had a storm of mixed rain and snow (mostly rain, on top of earlier mostly snow). Today, it's frozen crud. Oh, yes, I'm
thrilled
with global climate change.
It took less than two years for my blood to thin out. I'm quite shivery this morning and it's probably 65 degrees in this office. And I'm wearing a hat.
I used to love a good ice storm. I'd go for a walk in the Morton Arboretum afterwards and listen to the trees go clickety-clack.
Snow, ice and cold? Do not miss, DO NOT WANT!!!
Laga and Sonus are crazy and have something seriously wrong with them.
I can't speak for Sonus but yes. I am crazy.
Angel: If nothing we do matters, than the only thing that matters is what we do. If there's no greater meaning, than the smallest gesture can be the greatest thing in the world.
I think I come at the from a different place than Joss, but I love it just the same.
