Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'd suspect if it truly sucked, there would have been **NO** comments at all.
Ah yes, you have great wisdom, Grasshopper.
Any chance you can make the trek up to see P-C next weekend?
Actually, my New Year's plans just fell through, so I was thinking of asking the LAistas whether there was anything going on. But Party w/P-C is the 30th, right?

That is correct, Sunday.
That is correct, Sunday.
Could be tricksy. Mom (without consulting us, of course) bought tickets for she, my brother and I to go to
Triple Espresso.
Great show, but I do get crabby when she makes plans for me. Ah well. Maybe, depending on showtimes, partytimes, whether there's somewhere I can crash, whether there's anything good going on on NYE...
So, LAistas, anything good going on for NYE?
Oh hey Omnis, in case you haven't been channel surfing, Jeff Dunham is currently marathoning on Comedy Central. You're a fan, right?

Sweet!
Oh, I get it. You're Santa In Disguise
Ah, kids.
Reminds me of my wee sister doing the figure-out-your-own-explanation thing in the back of the car whilst my Dad was driving one day. This little voice piped up informatively:
"Look, Daddy! Those two cows are playing leapfrog!"
(Cue Dad to break into a cold sweat at the appalling Question he'd just narrowly avoided.)
Uggh. I'm skipping to whine.
I am somewhat hung over, very tired, and stuck in an airport (Newark) that has apparently been shut down. At least my part of it. I was about 30 people from the security scanners when a bunch of Port Authority Police showed up and made us move far away. That was an hour and a half ago. My flight was supposed to leave 45 minutes ago.
I woke up at 6:15 of my first day of Xmas break, which is also a Saturday. This makes me cranky, although I'm not actually tired; I went to sleep at 8:45 last night.
It's the principle of the thing.
Kristin, I will be grading over break, which I'm actually happy about, since I have been grading like a mad thing all week, and I still wasn't done yesterday at noon. So our principal is letting us submit our grades on the first day back by 9 a.m. Sweeeet. This means I can grade leisurely in front of my parent's new HDTV. I kinda wish I hadn't gotten up at 4:30 yesterday morning to grade, tho.
I might actually be able to keep on on B.org for the next little while! Big excitement!
Oh, Gris. That SUCKS.
Morning, Erin! Good to see you!
I have much on the to-do list today, and I actually feel like I have a little energy and might be able to get it done...at least a good part of it. Also, cable guy is coming in a couple hours to upgrade me to digital! I'm coming back in to the 1990's! I'll have Lifetime again! Pbbbbllt!
I have paid my personal prop taxes (from 2004 to 2008!!!) and signed up for insurance this morning!!
I only have to wait till the next paycheck on the 28th, pay the balance to the garage, get inspected, and get my new tags, and I WILL HAVE MY FUCKING CAR BACK!!!!!!!!!!
I have not had a car since 12/16/06. It has sucked beyond the telling of it. KC is NOT a carless-friendly town. And it's COLD.
I am so excited.
