Oh, way aheda of you, Laga. We started a couple of months ago by watching allmof the UK Office all the way through. I raved about it at the time, and still do. The UK version is the single most beautiful, funny, heartbreaking piece of TV I've ever seen.
Then we started on the US version, which is beautiful in its own right.
There were a bunch of things on my list to do, including scanning some photos. While I was at it I scanned my wedding pictures. [link]
It's about time really. I don't remember who some of the people are.
typos courtesey of the iPhone, and me being starving and wanting to finish a thought and go get food.
somebody needs to watch Eddie Izzard's "Dress to Kill"
Reason #8,036 that I love Sean: he never, ever mis-attributes it as "DressED" to Kill, which it most certainly is not.
We had our work Xmas dinner tonight, and I am beyond full. Nom nom nom. Yummy expensive Italian food. And a (barely) 4-figure bonus check. Woot!
Cute kid bit from a story on a Santa club:
Some members take their role seriously, wearing red socks and Christmas shirts and answering to their holiday names year-round. The club's founder, who listens to Christmas wishes from 17,500 children a year at the Mall of America, flatly refused to give his name, identifying himself only as Santa Sid.
Once, a little boy who knew him as Santa ran into him at work at the Holiday Inn, where he wore a nametag that said "Sid." The kid was unfazed. "Oh, I get it. You're Santa In Disguise!"

t busy writer surfaces momentarily from her WIP
It would probably break the historical ambiance of my manuscript to have my antagonist respond to the very idea that my protagonist might even kinda-sorta someday pose a threat to him by thinking, "You and what army?" wouldn't it?
My guess will be Sox
It's because of the haiku
It could be d though
Laura other than the date, the thing that gave away the time frame of your wedding was the style of sunglasses [link]
OMG Laura, you guys were so cute! (And still are, of course).
Omnis - we kid because we love. I actually liked your haiku (once I corrected the second line in my head to "under covers - warm, cozy"). And being compared to William? High praise.
Oh, and since I'm finlly re-de-lurked at the same time as you seem to be around...did I see you say you come down to see the fam in Esco on occasion? 'Cuz I'm in San Diego (Mira Mesa, to be exact), just fyi.
You're Santa In Disguise!
Smart kid!
Susan, perhaps "with the aid of whose army do you propose that, Sirrah!" or perhaps not.
