'War Stories'

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Trust my rage

I can't believe I was gone one day and missed such another great buffista conversation. I just have to say that I loved Narnia as a child (still do) and the rule-follower in me strongly dislikes the fact that they have reordered the books. For example, I much preferred reading all about the WItch in TLTWATW and then later on finding out how she got into Narnia and doing it in reverse seems less interesting and with less "Oh, so that's how that happened!"

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Um, actually a major role with lots of talking, lots of action, and some pretty important exposition. What the hell were these people thinking?

Oops. I may have misunderstood his story. Actually, maybe they did cut all his lines.

Acting is traumatic enough for thick-skinned grownups; I can't imagine being a kid and being cast/un-cast/cast-in-a-clearly-made-up-bullshit-role.

Uh, YEAH. There may have been a wee bit of crying. Possibly. Mind you, I always liked Susan better than Lucy (I know, not the best preference in the context of the books).

(ETA: Thank you all for the validations. I loves me some validation.)

juliana: Love those pictures. Grandpa has a dashing eyepatch.

Kristin: I love that lolcat! The look on that puppy's face is priceless.

Yay GC's girlfriend!

Lastly, coworker just brought me a peep santa. A PEEP SANTA! She is awesome!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

So very bored.

So very bored.

I hear ya. One more hour, then eleven days off. Oh yes. And yet, this is going to be the longest hour of my life, isn't it?

Suzi - insent.

Mostly lurking...

Jars, I wish you were here too...not only so I could see you, but so *someone* would enjoy the snow. Three storms in a week is just a bit much, you know?

Suzi, insent in a minute. I have to reboot my computer.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Can someone write me a note to skip all of the holiday festivities this year? I feel lousy, and I haven't stopped crying since I woke up this morning. I'm not looking for hugs and hairpats, because I don't feel like I deserve them, just venting a little.

Dear Universe,

Please excuse sj from this year's holiday festivities as she is not feeling well and is possibly contagious.

Thanks,
