Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Oddly enough, though, they do play pinochle on your snout.

That may be a regional thing. I'd always understood them to be more partial to whist.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Holy crap, did we all know about The Hobbit Movie?

I actually did a double take and had to do that quick 'is it April 1st?' thing before remembering that, no, duh, nearly Christmas.

...not at all sure how I feel about this. I'd really rather he got on with making Temeraire, I think.

Oh, please don't be like The Phantom Menace.

t fretful

Now tagless for your comfort.

Fay, I read that this morning. I; confident the PJ won't fuck it up. I'd panic if anyone other than PJ was doing it.

So, um, I just had a complete and total meltdown in the hospital cafeteria. We're out of cash, and none of the (very paltry) cafeterias here take credit cards.

This wouldn't normally cause a meltdown, but it's looking like S might need a pretty serious procedure here in SF before we can go back to LA. If she does, this will likely vastly increase the likelihood she'll get a transplant soon.

Yeah, a transplant soon sounds good, but if she gets a transplant before she qualifies for Medicare (which she can't get until February 2000), they won't cover her anti-rejection meds, which will cost $800 a month for basically the rest of her life.

Yeah, so... Rough day. And it's only noon-ish.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Geez. I wish I could do something to make it better. {{{Sean and S}}}

Oh Sean, that sucks! Please let S know that I'm thinking of her.

Librarian Warlord

{{Sean + S}} That's more than a rough day.

askye, my undergrad was English and economics. I got my library degree after going to law school, which is how I ended up as a law librarian. I think you can go to library school with just about any experience and make it work, but computer and business degrees are looked on with favor now. If you think you want to be a special librarian (e.g., children's librarian, law librarian, etc.) you might focus on those topics, but you'd also need to consider a second master's (depending on what you wanted to do with your career and where you wanted to work).
