Any chance he was just a bigamist?
Nope. I've got separate birth records for all of them. (Plus one more Jakob Nathan, son of Nathan Samuel, born 1904, with a last name and birth place that makes them obviously related, but I just can't figure out how. I've got a guess, but it's just a guess.)
At what age did you start letting your babies cry a bit without picking them up right away?
How long is a bit?
I'm not really sure I *have* started it, but I'm of the AP school of parenting.
Sean, continued ~ma for S.
As for organ donation, after my father died, I really appreciated the letters we got from various organ-izations, thanking us. It helped me, at least, to know that some good had come out of it.
I've got something on my mind. One of my bosses has asked me if I would like to take her job, so she can scale back to part-time at the group home. I have written out the pros and cons as I see them, here [link] . I'd appreciate anyone who has the time and energy looking it over. Any thoughts on the topic would be greatly appreciated.
(I should add that, as a toddler, I let her fuss if she's just being fussy. If she's actually upset, she gets picked up and comforted. It's pretty easy to tell the difference between whinging and sorrow.)
I have a loose tooth. Since I am no longer 6, this is a bad sign.
Hah - a trick questions. First babies? Or subsequent babies?
Yeah, for a brief moment I wished I had kids, so I could answer, "I was 32 when I started doing that."
Good point, WindSparrow. I'd say I was 23...
