Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

That sucks KT. What are you worried about?

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Drew's parents. The fire isn't in their area yet, but it's completely out of control and could head their way.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

All thoughts and prayers for fam-of-ND. And any thoughts and prayers I can steal from anyone who isn't using 'em.

Best thoughts to those affected by the fire, even if it's just being unable to breathe--ack!

I just posted a bunch of my pictures from IDKE! (though not the two that are really too debauched, there's one from Friday that the scattering of empty bottles and shot glasses probably suggests what's to come)

All is well that ends in pizza.

I, for one, will forever treasure the memory of Schoolhouse Rock and variations in helping me get through many humps in school.

Not the least of which include at least three separate tests that included the preamble.

"We the people, in order to form a more per-fect un-ion..."

Knowing that it's also wrong is a good thing, too.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Much-ma to everyone being affected by the fires.

No sleep for me. My sleep schedule got messed up watching the baseball playoffs, and now I can't seem to sleep at all. I didn't even have any caffeine today after my morning cup of tea.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

~ma to ND's family. I can only imagine what it must be like in SD. All of SoCal appears to be covered in smoke.

I hope they open PCH soon. My commute is of the suck (more so than the usual suck of the 405).

Late night shoe post! I need some new red flats as I'm sick of the ones I have.

  • Red, gray, and black with buckle! Not sure about the nubs on the heel, though. >[link]
  • Grommets and a little wedge >[link]
  • These appeal to the preppy in me, but too pricey >[link]
  • I can't decide if I love these or hate them >[link]
  • Red with brown - a fave combo of mine >[link]
  • Adorable but I don't think I want open-toe >[link]
  • These are sweet and the red shoes I'm replacing were also Indigo by Clarks >[link]
  • Predictably, I love these buckle flats, which probably means I shouldn't buy them >[link]
  • These are cute and I don't own anything remotely like them...hmmm >[link]
  • Not red, but these are hott >[link]
  • More hot Naughty Monkeys >[link]

I can't decide whether these [link] or these [link] are my favorites.

Which reminds me that I need to visit DSW soon.

All good thoughts to everyone in the paths of the So Cal fires. And may they not head to ND's parents' home, or any of you or yours - all of you.
