I'm not having a good week at work. Actually I haven't felt like I've had a good week since my supervisor left. Oddly enough everyone else seems to think I'm doing a good job, which just confuses me. I feel like I'm hiding things from them and when they find out they'll want me to leave.
This is in part based on how I've slacked off in some areas and have a ton of filing that needs to be done that I keep putting off. And I've been late. quite a bit. So I keep waiting for the reprimand to happen that never seems to and it's tense making.
The energy savings are only there for CRT monitors.
yes. And those are waning in popularity. But in a dark theater, it helps he eyes from having the nice white glare of the white google page. It's like the Goth Google ;)
Oh JZ, I'm so sorry for the un-good feelings...AND, Sparky is indeed wise. Bad fits are nobody's friend. Something better must be in the wings.
Many wishes that the best thing happens sharpish and dispels the dread like a glorious sunrise dusting a vampire we don't like.
"Oh, ita. I just dusted Dick Cheney. That's Okay, right?"
(ita's migraines clear up. Doctors are baffled.)
Hee. I have to share this. One of my 9th graders is way too smart for her own good (and likes to show it off). The girls just took a vocabulary quiz, and one of the words was "pious." Most of the girls who chose to write an original sentence using the word wrote something along the lines of, "The
pious
man attended church every Sunday."
What does this girl write?
"Jane Seymour's
pious
ways caused her to attract the attentions of King Henry VIII, looking for a wife who would please and be loyal to the church."
And no, this is not history they have studied yet. I am amused.
Awww! You got a buffista in your class!
((((JZ))))) continuing job search~ma to you. I myself, am not looking forward to starting that in January.

Hmmm. Can she do improv? Can I put her in touch with the RenFaire folks in LA?
Job-searching just sucks. And the rejections are horrible. I'd ten times rather go out on a dozen auditions than one interview. I'm already twinging and fretting for you, DJ (although you wear your awesomeness so out front and out loud that I can't imagine any prospective employer hesitating over you for a second once you make it to the interview stage).
Aww, thanks. I have a little less pressure in that I could pretty much stay here for another year and be fine. I'd just rather not.
Ick the air is so much worse here at work than it is at home. If LA-istas need some relief head towards the ocean. But don't go in! I heard something about some shut down sewage treatment plants.
