Jayne: There's times I think you don't take me seriously. I think that ought to change. Mal: Do you think it's likely to?

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Thanks Cash! I loves them. When I wear the brown ones I got I'll take a pic of those too.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hot boots! Cute baby!

Too full of sushi for verbs, sorry.

Eta: welcome home, Typo!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Great' boots, DJ.

Haven't heard back from K yet about seeing the nephews. Trying not to freak out, but I'm going to be really devastated if I don't get to see them. I haven't seen them in over a year, and I was used to seeing them at least once a week.

brillig

The phrase "just back from Bali" tickles me with its cosmopolitanism.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Miracleborns are TRUE entertainment. Cracking me up here. I was trying to fill in my office-mate of what I was Bwah-ha-ha'ing about. He is of the stone face.

Speaking of my office mate... so naive. I was saying the Woot-off is done. And he, being who he is said "I did a woot-off with your Mom last night". So, being the asshole that I am, I pushed it and asked "o ya, she go around the world for you?"

"um. I dunno what that is, but I'm guessing it was dirty"

Kids today. What DO they teach them in summer camp?!?

Thrive to spite them

Those are awesome boots!

And that's a cute baby.

I'm watching Wife vs Secretary, with Clark Gable, Myrna Loy, Jean Harlow, (and James Stewart in a small role being wonderful as usual) and Myrna Loy, in one scene, is wearing a tricorn hat that made me think of Jilli right away. It's a slightly dated but still interesting movie (at least so far) and the clothes are really nice.

All is well that ends in pizza.

We haven't had any irony here since about, uh, '83, when I was the only practitioner of it. And I stopped because I was tired of being stared at.

And the irony of the speech was that she meant sarcasm. So he just rolls with it.

Wonderful adaptation of Cyrano De Bergerac.
