My whole life just flashed before my eyes! I gotta get me a life!

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

In my experience whenever a service tech is supposed to be at my house between x and y they don't show up more than 5 minutes before y.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I just had someone from PG&E a couple of weeks ago to light all my pilots and he showed up right in the middle of the service window. Bastards, falsely building my trust.

I know that the minute I go out someone would show up, they won't get me that way.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

In my experience whenever a service tech is supposed to be at my house between x and y they don't show up more than 5 minutes before y.

Except for the one time out of seven they show up twenty minutes before x.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{-t}}} I hate being stuck in waiting for people.

In my experience whenever a service tech is supposed to be at my house between x and y they don't show up more than 5 minutes before y.

This is true, unless I count on the fact that they won't be there much before y and am not quite dressed yet. In those cases they always show up at 5 minutes past x.

it's still normal to feel a stabby pain when he writes about things he's doing with his new girlfriend, right?

As Trudy said--totally normal. Emotions not about logic.

I. LOVE. HER.

Aww, yay, Kristin! That's awesome!

It's not so bad, I got some quality unpacking done. I'm just preemptively annoyed at the notion that no one will show up in the next 20 minutes and I still won't be able to do laundry and I'll have to make another appointment. But I shouldn't assume that. Y'all are right, 7:55 is the rational time to pin my hopes on.

my never-quite-enough-boyfriend-to-be-an-ex roommate is my bestest friend and I love him and I'm really happy for him that he had a whirlwind romance while on vacation in Hawaii and she's coming to visit over New Years and all the sudden there's a girl at work who likes him too but also I kinda miss when he was all broken hearted and melancholy 'cause we could have sex once in a while. And I am really excited to meet Hawaii girl 'cause she seems really cool but also I kinda want to poke her in the eye.

IOW yeah, totally normal.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Sox, if you could see the tick fairly easily it's most likely a harmless one. Max had a deer tick on him, and the only reason I saw it was it was a.) on his ear where the fur is small anyway and his fur is black, and b.) tick was white from enough time there. It was TINY, even in its engorged state.
