[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

In news of baseball cuteness, I bring you this picture of Manny Ramirez and his BEAUTIFUL family: [link]

Look at that beautiful chubby baby! He's like a mini-Manny!

That's a whole lotta pretty right there. IMHO.

Edited because I DO TOO KNOW Manny Ramirez's last name. I'm very tired though!

Our wings are not tired.

HELLS YES

Eeep! Hope they get it right this time!

Sports is a social thing for me. I can't imagine caring about the team enough to watch by myself, but love going to live events and am always ready to join a group watching. (if they aren't too serious, cause it is a game folks)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My poor ailing stomach flip flopped at this cake. Hot damn.

I know I probably have all the ingredients at home, but theirs is just so pretty!

We actually did watch the Cowboys game, DJ. That was some sloppy football from both the Cowboys and the Vikings!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The only sport I can really sit and watch is baseball, and that has only been for the last few years. Luckily, TCG doesn't really need to watch any other sports either.

Job~ma, JZ! I hope you hear something good about the job soon.

Look at that beautiful chubby baby! He's like a mini-Manny!

Too cute!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

JZ - how did you find a recruiter? Need new job. I said I've give this place to the end of the year, but I'm not so sure about that now.

Though - I did get a response from my old boss.

Ahhh, this makes me SOooo happy I could cry...I am SO glad you stuck with it! You make me proud!!!

I am a puddle.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Thanks for the ~ma. I just feel all stupid, like a teenager with a crush. I liked them soooooo much, and I was so crushed and despondent when they said no. Am I looking all cheap and easy by being so eager to take their (as yet purely theoretical) sloppy seconds?

eta: I actually have 3 recruiters, two of whom I got through introductions from friends and family and one from answering a Craigslist ad. One recruiter is in Oakland (the one who set me up with the Bad Company interview, but that's no reflection on her). I'd be happy to put you in touch with her.

It sounds like the person they hired instead of you didn't work out, JZ. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I want to know how Dean and Deluca ships the purse cake.
