Yup, that was me, Sean. I've been a mostly-lurker on slacktivist since June '05, when SusanW posted a link (possibly right here in Bitches, though maybe Natter) to this post, which caused me to laugh like a drain and a printout of which has lived on my bulletin board at work ever since.

I'd been directed to his blog (by Susan) before, and occasionally tried to keep up with the Left Behind Fridays, but it's really caught my interest of late, and ever since Susan's last linkage to his blog, I've been mainlining the whole thing. Seriously, I've been going backwards through the archives one week at a time, and now keeping up on current posts and comments, which is how I wound up posting on that Santorum thread.

Or is it the idea that I like that stuff at all that's freaking you out?

Ah. It doesn't really sound like that out loud. Though I've been searching for it here, and it looks like you can get it in parts of Ohio and New York, only it's called Zwack which is the company that makes it.

I get that, but I think for constructive wording to the teacher, you need to make that clearer up front.

Would I trade in the Green/Gold for Black/Purple? Well, no. But I might add Black/Purple if I end up over there. At least they are in a different league and I could love them both up to the World Series.

It isn't a solid lead yet, but I have another person who said I could use them as a reference and she encouraged me to contact a few specific people.

I hate the idea of leaving the Bay Area, but I wonder if it would help CJ to start over in a new place. I just worry about my mom, she gets cold enough here and would come to Denver if I move there...

No idea what will happen in the long run. I'm here until June at the very least...gotta see the girl through graduation.

I am so tired and cranky, and I just can't wait for my mood to kick over into something else.

I figure after now (like, starting tomorrowish, for the next couple weeks) is actually the best time to be travelling! Too late for most Thanksgiving travellers, too early for Christmas, no one is taking random flights between those...business travelers, GO!

In other news, the crazy not-boss lady who was making me nutty? I talked to my actual boss about her yesterday, and explained that I knew I was reacting badly (getting *obviously* pissy and resentful when I perceived her as being patronizing), and was it just me, or did other people have issues, and what could I do?

And boss was like "yeah, I've been sensing that". And then came to a meeting that afternoon, and MAD put the lady on the spot. Which was a bit uncomfy. But lady's answers were crap, which was kinda satisfying....

And today? She fired the lady!!

More work for me, but less drama. Whew!
