Cass, relieved to hear that you've spoken to him - poor little bugger. Yay for safety helmets!
I am going to find the manufacturer and send them a thank you note. Little bug is going to eventually be okay because of them.k it's an early sleep night.
Stress is a bad thing.
I've got to be up on time tomorrow. I've got several alarms set. Yet, I'm still worried that I might oversleep, and worrying is making me not able to get to sleep. And getting to sleep later will mean more trouble waking up. And worrying about that is making it even harder to sleep.
I'm still not asleep. Feh.
I'm in urgent care waiting for Drew. He got a really nasty splinter in his heel that a sanitized needle and a pair of tweezers wasn't going to touch (though I did try for him). He's in there now getting his poor foot scalpled. It's going to make travel for him this week a whole lot of not fun. Poor thing.
Hil, I'm so sorry about the awful fear that you might not wake up in time. Your doctor appt is soon, right?
My appointment is Tuesday.
Ack!
Sends bubble wrap for Drew's foot. Crappy way to spend a Sunday night. Hope the healing isn't too cruel.
Get some decent rest~ma for them that's having a rough time getting decent rest.
Yeah, not a fun Sunday night. We both have to be up early, too, but I was really worried he'd end up with a nasty infection if we didn't come in, so I'm glad he decided to. He had a tetanus booster recently, at least (we're not sure if it was a wood or metal splinter), but swift foot-healing~ma would be appreciated. He was supposed to walk through his Beverly Hills speaker install tomorrow, but I'm hoping he hires someone else to take his place. I can't think that lots of walking and ladder climbing is a good idea. Poor baby.
and a text funny for those who can't click links. Ganked from B3ta's "stories of desperation" qotw
"This is a friend's act of desperation, but also an act of pathetic genius. He wanted a cat. His mother didn't want a cat about the house. So he bought a kitten, and just before bringing it home, he poured water all over it. Then he told her that someone had put it in a bag and thrown it in a river. She felt so sorry for the wee kitty she let him keep it. He was 26 at the time." (Dr Preference)
